Matrix Business Development Ltd. (Matrix) invites applications from promising young researchers who are keen to pursue an intellectually challenging career in development research and promoting agribusiness in Bangladesh. The ideal candidate will have a keen and demonstrated interest in issues related to macroeconomic and fiscal-financial management, development economics, global economic affairs and global agribusiness. The applicant should have strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills as also excellent drafting skills. The candidate should be highly motivated, capable of displaying learning ability and a good team player.

Responsibilities:

• Managing day-to-day research and field level activities, from planning to implementation
• Supporting business development team in promoting company business concerns
• Active role in monitoring and evaluation
• Draft report /working paper/concept note/research brief.
• Active role in data collection, database management, analysis and reporting
• Visiting to research sites
• Familiar with Digital Data Collection Tools (Android Phone compatible Apps such as Kobo ToolBox, Survey CTO, AKVO Flow etc.)
• Active in market research, sustainability and branding for the company
• Active role in agribusiness supply chain management
• Position specific tasks and activities as per company requirement

Compensation package will be based on assessment of the candidate’s qualifications and suitability, as also relevant experience.
